Regis - SOLD (8/08)

Regis is the most adorable pony ever!! He is young at 5, but packs my 6 yr old daughter around like he's 20! She has learned so much about riding on Regis. He is Amish broke to ride and drive and was used as an Amish child's driving pony to get them back and forth to school everyday (see "our Amish friends" page). He knows what it means to work and you can tell he appreciates "the good life" - light riding and driving, plenty of turnout, grooming, hugs, kisses and adoration from all the young neighbor kids. He is steady and dependable out on the trail - not a total deadhead, but not much bothers him. He will walk, trot and canter for my young daughter (on a loose rein with her flopping around), but because he hasn't had much "professional schooling" undersaddle, I'd consider him "green broke" to ride still. Never anything bad, just not advanced in his training. He has incredible potential as a hunter pony - look at him free jump a 3 ft oxer! A cute mover with the best, lovable personality!!

Tanque - SOLD (7/08)

Tank is a 17 hand, 6 year old, Spotted Draft gelding. He has had extensive ground work over the last several years, but was not started under saddle until last year. He is coming along nicely and I am thrilled at his progress. He is great out on the trail - very brave and easy going. He is actually a nice moving horse for his size and I am interested to see how he jumps (I'll keep you posted). He has a nice walk, trot, canter currently, but is still working on leads, leg yielding, flexing and bending. I consider him green broke at this time and even a little on the lazy side, He has great potential to go in many directions .Tank is good with his feet, clips, ties, loads and loves baths. A sweet natured horse that likes to be with people. He is an impressive horse with presence and will make a wonderful partner.

Blue Rayon - SOLD 7/08

Okay, I normally only bring back drafts and crosses, but I occasionally find another I can't resist. Rayon is one of those. She is the sweetest mare, well broke and safe enough for me to put my 6 yr old on to walk, trot and canter by herself and the fact that she is so pretty is just icing! After seeing how gentle and easy she was for my daughter to ride, I decided to see if I could ride her bareback in just a halter - piece of cake. So then we tried a haystring. This mare is amazing - easy to ride even with only a string around her neck. She has good ground manners and can be groomed and tacked up by beginners, but she is a little apprehensive with baths still (I'm sure that will change as it gets hotter). She has a great neck rein, picks the the smoothest canter easily and is good out on the trail (although she walks out very fast)! A great horse for a younger rider or more timid lady.

Lady (Muley Girl) - SOLD 7/08

Lady is a 5 yr old, 16 hand leggy molly mule. She is broke to ride and is a great trail mount. She has super smooth gaits and goes english, western or bareback equally well. She is good with her feet, clips, ties, bathes and loads. I think she'd make a nice english mule - look at her jumping pictures! She tries hard for her rider, will go out with other horses or out by herself. She is not barn sour and has no vices. She is a mule; however, and although a beginner can ride her, I'd recommend her for an experienced horseperson (or mule person) as she depends on her handler for confidence.

Triumph (aka Skeeter) - SOLD (5/08) Congratulations Joe and family, Dripping Spring, Texas!!

Here's another "something different" for me to bring back. This beautiful colt was bred by Early Dawn Sport Horses in Canada. He is out of a Percheron cross mare and a registered paint stallion. The result is a nice moving colt with eye catching color, a sweet gentle personality with impressive feet and bone and good size. What more can you ask for? He is registered with the Performance Horse Registry in KY (#5015118). He is a wonderful prospect for either english or western sport. Skeeter is super easy to work with - in just a couple days he was tying, loading, picking up his feet and bathing (his favorite!).

Fergussen - SOLD (5/08) Congratulations Bryan, Norco, CA!!

Fergussen is a 4 yr old Percheron gelding that is broke to ride and drive. He is a big puppy dog with a gentle temperment, but don't let those big soft eyes full you too much, he is athletic as he is sweet! I can picture him turning heads as a draft dressage mount. He has lovely, big, floaty, uphill movement with presence! We have mainly been driving him and trail riding him, but have started more serious undersaddle training recently. I apologize I don't have better undersaddle pictures (they are coming soon) - please forgive the unprofessional bareback pictures, but I wanted to at least get him up on the site and show him at a walk, trot and canter. I will update his page as soon as I have some new pictures!! Stay tuned, or contact me for more info.

Rex - SOLD (5/08) Congratulations Maria, Laguna Hills, California!!

The name should say it all! - bold, sturdy, handsome and dependable! That's our Rex! He is a registered Belgian gelding (of smaller stature) with plenty of chrome and flash. He is broke to ride and drive (single and double) and is excellent out on the trail. He would be a perfect dude string horse, family horse, "husband horse", police mount or easy pleasure riding and/or driving. I would have classified him as suitable for a total beginner if it weren't for his size. He is a big, strong horse that although gentle, can still "get up and go" if you ask him to. He has great ground manners, ties, loads, clips, stands for farrier - does everything you'd expect a good horse to do.

Ichabod - SOLD (5/08) Congratulations Jackie of Susanville, California!!

www.johnstonfamilycarriages.com

Yes, he's tall and skinny - thus the name. But with dental work, good feed and exercise, he's gaining weight nicely. This is one of the sweetest horses we've had. He is very affectionate and will follow you around while you clean his stall, bugging you to scratch him with the rake! Ichabod is broke to ride and drive and has good ground manners. He is good with his feet, standing for the farrier (no stocks needed), he clips (but prefers you to start slowly at first), ties, loads and trailers. He stands perfectly still for harnessing, hitching, saddling, etc. Ichabod is the kind of horse you can bond with strongly and once he trusts you, you have his heart and he will try his hardest for you. He is a timid horse - not "spooky" but will look to his rider or driver for confidence. If you are looking for a partner to go trail riding with friends or a horse you can drive around the neighborhood with, then here's your boy!

Rodney - SOLD Congratulations Fort McDowell Adventures!

Rodney is a 5 yr old, 17 hand, Belgian/Quarter Horse Cross gelding. He is broke to drive single and double and well broke to ride. We ride him english, western, bareback, double, triple, backwards...he doesn't care! I used him alot this past christmas to take our family and friends out on drives with our wagonette. He is a nice big mover with potential for dressage, lower level eventing, english or western pleasure. He is great out on the trail (see the short video clips), not a deadhead, but not spooky either. We have been working on his arena work and he is coming along nicely - starting to bend and flex, moves well off leg and is consistent with his leads. Great with his feet, clips, ties anywhere, loads, bathes, etc. A really nice solid horse for any level rider - no vices - safe, sound and sweet!!!

MINA - SOLD Congratulations Culver Riding Academy in Indiana!

Mina is a black, 3 1/2 yr old, 17 hand, Percheron/Standardbred Cross Mare that is broke to ride and drive. She is a dominant mare in the pasture, but loves people attention and is a sweetheart - first one to greet you at the gate! She is good with her feet, clips, loads, ties and has good ground manners. I have been so busy with the others that poor Mina has kind of gotten a little neglected on the riding side. With more time now after the holidays, I'll be back to riding her and will update her page to reflect evaluation and progress. I have her listed for an intermediate rider because of her age, but I believe she will be easy enough for a novice with a little more time under saddle..

Cheyenne - SOLD Congratulations Kristin in Care Free, AZ!!

Cheyenne is a uniquely colored sport horse prospect. She is a 4 year old, Clydesdale Appaloosa cross mare. She has had plenty of time to grow up just hanging out in the pasture with her friends. We have recently started her under saddle and she is receptive and gentle with the typical laid back draft personality. Her first ride went smooth as butter. She has not offered to do anything out of step, is 100% sane and sound with no vices. We will start trail riding her to build her up physically and expose her mentally after her 10th arena ride. She is a nice mover and cute over fences. I will keep her sale page and description updated as her training progresses. Please contact me for more info on this pretty mare.

Black Opal - SOLD

Opal is a black, 14.2 hand, 12 year old Tennessee Walker Mare. She is spry and sweet, gentle and loves people and attention. I bought her from an Amish man who had raised a few babies from her and she was underweight and lacking muscle tone. She has since put on some good weight and we are working on building her strength back up. She has a stepping pace that is comfortable and easy to maintain, she's good on the trail - will lead or follow and is equally good in the arena. A sweet little mare that would be a good mount for an older, lady rider that would appreciate a smooth ride and gentle horse. She could also be a nice backyard, family horse. She clips, loads, ties and is good with her feet.

Skittles - SOLD Congratulations to T.R.O.T. Theraputic Riding Program of Tucson!

Skittles is a 4 yr old, 14.2 hand Percheron/Paint Draft Cross Pony. He is cute as a bug and gentle as a dog. Stout enough to carry a large man but easy enough for a child to ride - does it get any better? He rides and drives, very broke for both. I drove him alot over Christmas and guests rode him out on the trail. He is beginner safe and fun for anyone. A great whole family horse, lesson horse, pony club mount, trail horse, ??? Not spooky, sound, safe, sweet - ties, clips, loads, great with feet.

Mateo - SOLD Congratulations to T.R.O.T. Theraputic Riding Program of Tucson!

Mateo is a 16 hand (current height), 4 1/2 yr old Percheron/Paint Cross gelding that is broke to ride and drive. This guy is as gentle as they come - no spook, very willing and very laid back. He's never in a hurry so he'd be great for those that like to "take it easy" on the trail. He will go if you ask him to, but if you want to go fast, you'll really have to ask!! He is currently my husband's favorite trail horse. Great feet and bone - sound and sane - no vices - ties, clips, loads, the works. Very sweet natured, loves people. I say he's beginner safe for trail enthusiasts, but still needs a little "fine tuning" in the arena. Would make a great husband horse, family pleasure horse, field hack, carriage horse or police mount.

Double Take SOLD

Dubs is a 4 year old, 17 hh Percheron/Paint cross tobiano gelding. He is big and sweet! Great short back, major bone and hoof and ready to get started on a "job". We have started him under saddle recently and are getting him accustomed to the normal "horsey" things a good riding horse puts up with (clipping, bathing, loading, etc.). He is learning quickly and has a great willing attitude and work ethic. Because of his size, age and inexperience I suggest at least an intermediate rider at this stage in his training. I'll update his description as his training continues!

Captain SOLD Congratulations to Marley Farms!!

Captain is a 7 yr old, 17 hand Clydesdale with that "classic budweiser look". He is a gorgeous horse with a sweet personality and so well broke to drive - single or in a team. We have started his under saddle training and he is coming along nicely. He does not have high knee action and will make a nice riding clyde with maybe even potetial in dressage.

Willow SOLD Congratulations to Marley Farms!!

Willow is a 6 yr old, 17 hh, black & white sabino colored Clydesdale Gelding with a beautiful dished face!
He is well broke to drive and has been a dream to ride out on the trail. This horse is amazing! So much personality and a blast to ride. He is not spooky at all, but has a motor and can definitely move! I would love to see him do dressage, but we ride him everyway but upside down - english, western, bareback, driving (single or team). We've even chased steer with him! This is a one of a kind horse - one of my all time favorites!!

Sumo SOLD Congratulations to Stage Coach Guest Ranch!

Sumo is the most adorable drafty pony I've ever had in! I fell in love the first time I saw him. He is about 6 years old, 13.1 hands and has to be about 1100 lbs!! He's a little tank. Very brave out on the trail - I haven't seen this pony even look concerned about anything yet. He clips, loads, ties, rides, drives - and has great manners and personality plus!! Suitable for beginner type riders.

Nash SOLD

Here's a great prospect for any sport! Nash is a 3 year old Percheron/Paint cross gelding. He stands around 16 hands currently and still has a few years of growing to do. He is started in harness double and drives with Paige (see below). He has been started under saddle and is showing himself to be patient, thoughtful and complient. I really like this horse and see a ton of potential. He has a great flat kneed trot and good movement. I'll keep his info updated as we continue with his training.

Price $4500

A Painted Poker Chip -SOLD

Here's the other adorable "regular horse" I found, but there's nothing "regular about him! Pogo is a 5 years old, 15 hh, registered Paint gelding. He has been used for ranch work and is one handy guy. I think he's going to be a great english mount, but my friends already been roping off him. He is fun and brave out on the trail and has a great comfortable lope. He neck reins and direct reins, ties, loads, is great with his feet and has good general ground manners. A good looking, versatile all around horse. Suitable for a novice or better rider.

Paige- SOLD

Paige is Nash's half sister - a Percheron/Paint mare of 3 years and matched to drive with him. She is a total sweetheart and very easy to work with. She is not started under saddle yet, but will be with Nash this summer, too. We've already been on her back just playing around. Watch for more pictures and updated info...

Update - Paige has been started under saddle with no complications. She is calm and going well.

Top Notch SOLD

"Notch" is a 16.3 hh, 4 1/2 year old, Amish broke Percheron Gelding. He is broke well to drive and has been started under saddle. He loves to trail ride and is extremely brave. He is happy as a clam to walk out and lead the trail and does have a nice little sitting trot but will canter, too when encouraged to do so (takes a bit of leg though!). He is young and still a bit green, but has a great mind and gentle personality. Notch will be a beginner's horse, but because of his size and the fact that we haven't had him in training here very long I would suggest at least a novice at this point in his training

Great whole family type of horse - suitable for a beginer type rider. Very uncomplicated and even a tad on the lazy side!

Morning Son's Flight SOLD

Sonny is the other registered Missouri Fox Trotter we found. He is very well broke, great out on the trail, smooth gaited and absolutely gentle. He is 11 yrs old, a stout 15.2 hhs and has very old, classic breeding (see registration papers). I am not a "gaited horse" person, but I know good horses when I see them and this is a good horse! My son (who rarely rides) thinks he's wonderful and my husband likes him too. This is what I commonly refer to as a "husband horse". He is easy to be around, tack up, ride, bathe, etc. A good confidence builder and pleasure horse. Suitable for a beginner (or better) rider.

Salvador SOLD

Here we go! This is what people visit my site for - gorgeous draft crosses!! And Salvador doesn't disappoint! He is a 6 yr old, 16.1 hh Clydesdale Cross gelding. He took my breath away with his presence and personality and was one of those "gotta have him" types. His story is typical of what First Draft Farms does - he is Amish broke to drive (single) and we are getting him started riding. I'll keep his description updated as we are riding him and let you know how he's doing. Sal is a perfect gentleman to be around - easy to catch, handle, groom, clip, load, etc. He really seems to enjoy the attention and fuss. He knows he's sexy!

Red Tomahawk SOLD

Look!! Another (non) draft cross!!?? Redhawk is a 13 yr old, 15.2 hh, registered Missouri Fox Trotter. Some of my friends are starting to wonder about me now. Ha Ha. My husband had so much fun with Diego (see him under SOLD horses) who was partially gaited, we decided to try a couple more "gaited types". This guy is well broke, smooth to ride and very handsome. Don't let his maturity fool you - he still has plenty of go and spunk! I really enjoy him out on the trail. He is sweet, well mannered and fun. Come try him out! Suitable for a novice (or better) rider.

This sweet mare is an 8 yr old, 15.2 hh Belgian/Paint cross. She is broke well to ride with a nice walk, trot and canter. She is consistent with her leads and we have started her over crossrails and small fences. We have been riding her primarily english, but she goes in western tack nicely, too. I recommend a novice type rider for this mare as she can be a bit too sensitive for a beginner.

She is broke well to ride (walk, trot, canter) and I suspect she drives too; however, I haven't hitched her up yet. She is very good out on the trail and I haven't seen her spook at anything as of yet. She's been around kids, bikes, quads, dogs and cattle. We have ridden her english and western and she goes equally well in both types of tack.We are working on getting her to round and soften at the poll. She would make a nice heavier dressage prospect. Would do best with a novice or above rider.

Diego SOLD

Diego is a gorgeous 9 yr old, Tennessee Walker/Draft Cross X gelding. He is a great riding size at about 15.2 hh and broke to death. My husband has claimed him for himself (until he finds his new owner that is). He is partially gaited and smooth as glass to ride, but he does have a real trot as well. He is safe for any level rider - beginner to advanced. A real gentleman - wonderful ground manners, clips, loads, ties anywhere (and to anything), good with his feet and good with other horses. He rides english, western (nice neck rein, too), bareback, single or double (heck, he'd probably go triple or more if his back were longer!). Very nice conformation and athletic. He is the best that I have out on the trail. He packs the kids and beginner guest riders around and is fun for my more experienced friends and husband too! I can't say enough about this horse - he is a doll and cherished by our family. If you like him, hurry up and come try him before we decide to keep him!

This is my absolute favorite horse at the barn. He is a 5 yr old, Percheron/QH cross, 16.1 hh with my "weakness color" - buckskin! He is an absolute athlete, quick and powerful and a perfectionist. He loves to jump and is quite good at it too. Take a look at his brief video clip free jumping. I ride him western, english and bareback. He has great ground manners and a pleasure to handle. Here is a great AA or junior jumper prospect, but if your thing is more western sports, he'd be up for that, too. He would do best with an intermediate to advanced rider - lots of energy!

"Fearless Joe Black" What can I say? My kids named him! But it does fit. Great driving and riding horse! Joe is a 9 year old Percheon Cross Gelding and is 16.2 hh. He was an Amish family's cart horse.. They called him an "Idiot Horse" saying any idiot could drive him - talk about automatic transmission! He has taught my family  to drive and is ready to teach you. He also rides and could work double duty as a dressage prospect, english mount or trail horse. Very sweet and gentle. He is very deserving of a "forever home".

Raynier - SOLD

Raynier is a 6 yr old, 16.2 hh Buckskin, Percheron/QH Cross Gelding. He is a full brother to "Carson" and is broke to drive double with him. He has been started under saddle and has about 60 days training. He is a wonderful sport horse prospect with lovely form over fences (free jumping). He is probably better suited for a more experienced rider as he has a bit more of a "motor" than his brother. However, he is a safe horse with no vices.

Price $7500

Carson - SOLD

Carson is a 5 yr old 16.2 hh Percheron/QH Cross. He is a big stong horse with the most wonderful coloring - golden dappled buckskin! He is broke to drive double with his brother (Ranier - also for sale) and rides english and western. He has been under saddle approximately 60 days and has a good walk, trot and canter. We have recently been working on ground work to improve his trust and confidence. He is a total love and wonderful out on the trail. Best suited for an intermediate rider. He is very handsome english or western, and would also make a striking sport horse prospect!

Tinker Belle - SOLD Congratulations to KC's Classic Carriage Company in Scottsdale, AZ!

Tinker Bell, affecionately known here as "Tanker Bell" or "Tink" is everyone's favorite. She is a 4 year old, 16.1 hh Percheron Mare. She is broke to drive and ride. We love riding her and she is the "trail boss". Nothing phases her as she rambles on down the road. She has a nice walk, trot and canter and is a very gentle girl - beginner safe. She would be fun to breed to a Thoroughbred for a nice sport horse foal, too!

Price $4500

Rio - SOLD Congratulations to KC's Classic Carriage Company in Scottsdale, AZ!

Rio is a 5 yr old, 15.3 hand Percheron Cross Gelding.
He is an adorable, handsome grey gelding. He is great to drive and green broke to ride, but safe for a novice rider. Has has an easy walk, trot and canter and is quite a nice mover (not too much knee action). Very people oriented and loves attention of all kinds. A nice sport horse prospect. I can see him as a great pony club mount! Light enough for gaming but heavy enough bone for a larger rider.

Price $4000

Trucker - Sold

Truck is a 4 yr old, 16.2 hh, Bay, Clydesdale Gelding
Tucker is another "husband/guest safe" horse. A 14 yr old girl is riding him currently and they are doing great. He is coming along with his arena work well, but his real love is trail riding! Nice forward walk, trot, canter and a light mouth. A very handsome horse that wins everyones heart.

Ruby - SOLD

7 yr old, 16.1hh, Red Roan, Belgian Mare
Ruby is a gem for sure! She is absolutely the safest, sweetest horse. She is a great ride and broke to drive single or double, too. This is my current "husband horse". I can put anybody on her and she does her job happily. Great confidence builder or beginner horse - nice easy walk, trot and canter and a dream on the trail. She clips (ears and all), ties anywhere, stands great for farrier and vet and loads herself in trailers she should think are too small!
$3000

Congratulations to Karen & Nicki Lubinski on your new dressage prospect and trail riding buddy!

6 year old, 17 hh, black Shire gelding with 3 tall white socks and a long stripe. Theo was used for field work but loves his new "good life" being adored by his people. He is a total teddy bear who will do anything for attention (and especially a treat). He has a ground covering walk, a beautiful floaty trot and smooth canter. He is wonderful out on the trail, doesn't spook at anything, traffic safe and FUN! I see this horse going on to do dressage, but he would be just as happy to just be a pet!
Price: $6000

"Blitz" is a 3 year old, 15.2 hh, Blue Roan/Paint Percheron Cross Gelding. He is wonderful in harness with cart - drives very light and is coming along very nicely under saddle. This young horse has a nice walk, trot, canter and is learning to leg yield and pick up his leads more consistently. He is a very calm and mentally mature 3 yr old. Great out on the trail - my husband's favorite mount (currently)! No vices, no spook! He is one of the most talented jumpers we have had - very tight and careful and beautiful bascule! He would be adorable out on the hunt field.
Price: $6,000

"Buckshot" is a 2 year old Canadian bred Spotted draft. He is a beautiful buckskin/paint and currently stands around 15.1 hh and should mature around 16.2 hh. Despite his age, he is very calm and you can climb right on with or without a saddle. He will walk, trot and canter, but we are not working him due to his young age. We just "hop on" every now and then and head out for a short trail ride or let the kids sit on him out in the pasture. He is a cute, flat kneed mover with a nice trot and smooth canter. With his coloring he should catch any judges (or admirer's) eye. Start him your way!

"High Roller" is a bay roan with 4 tall white socks and a blaze - classic Clydesdale markings! He is 6 years old and 16.2 hands too small to hitch in a team, but perfect riding size!! He is a blast out on the trail - forward and comfortable, but well mannered. He has a good walk, trot and canter. Everyone stops to see "the clydesdale". This is a fun horse - tons of personality. Great trail horse - does well with a novice rider (my husband rides him!).

"Bryton" is a beautiful Percheron/Paint mare, 3 years old. She is athletic, has great conformation, wonderful bone & feet and unusual, flashy coloring with a gorgeous blue eye. You will not go unnoticed in whatever you do with her! Most importantly she is SAFE and SOUND (body and mind). She is as close to "bombproof" as I have ever had. Gentle and kind enough for any level rider. She has been under saddle for almost 1 year now and has a good walk, trot, canter. She is starting her basic dressage work: bending, flexing, straightness and forwardness. We have also started her over crossrails. She trail rides wonderfully, goes english, western and bareback. She has a light mouth & is resonsive to aids. NO VICES - NO SPOOK! Currently 15.2 hands (just turning 4), 1500 lbs - will mature at least 16 hands.
Price: $6,500

"Troy" is a 16 hh, 9 year old Percheron/Morgan Cross Gelding. He is the sweetest boy and needs to be loved by someone as special as he is. An Amish family's cart horse for 8 years, he is ready for a life of trail riding, teaching someone to drive, being "the husband horse" or even teaching the kids to ride. A perfect confidence builder, he is wonderful out on the trail - kid safe and traffic safe. My 8 year old loves to ride him out on the trail. He is a stout boy at 16 hands with great bone and feet. Troy is a dark Black/Bay with dapples - so cute. He has been a "vehicle" for long enough and needs to learn how wonderful life can be. He is learning to enjoy grooming, carrots & apples (he wouldn't eat them before), baths and just attention in general. We pulled his shoes so he could enjoy going barefoot for awhile (great feet). If you need a partner to love and enjoy - so does Troy.

"Allie" is a classy, 4 year old, 16.1hh Shire/Thoroughbred Cross mare with plenty of lovely feathers and gorgeous tail. She has been under saddle for a year now and spent alot of that year as a guide's mount on a Dude Ranch. She has hours of trails under her. We have started her on some "fine tuning" - bending, flexing, leads, yielding, etc. and have even introduced her to some crossrails. She is very soft and forward, responsive to aids - a pleasure to ride! Safe and sound - no vices. She would also make some nice sport horse babies!!

"Double Shot" - what can I say? Grand Prix talent!!! Dressage? Eventing? Jumping? Here's your prospect! A Canadian bred Belgian Warmblood, 17.1hh, 4 y.o. mare with talent to take you to upper level competition. She was started as a 3 y.o. 90 days professional training. Beautiful, correct mover with a nice walk, trot, canter. She is working on: lead consistency, bending, flexing and yielding. Gorgeous color, excellent conformation, great bone, feet and size. Boy can she jump!! Clears 5ft with room to spare!

"Mac" is a 10 year old, stocky 15.3 hh, Shire/Quarter Horse Cross. He has done it all!! Dude ranch, roping, working cattle, driving, and now his english career has started! He is such a "work horse" and takes his jobs very seriously. He tries very hard at whatever is asked of him. He is such a fun ride. Great forward walk, nice trot and canter. He can be trusted with small children with supervision, but is probably too forward for most youngsters. We have started jumping him and he is very honest to anything you point him at and really seems to like it! A great all around horse!
Price: $5000

"Juggernaut" aka "Juggy" is a 17 hh, 5 year old Percheron. I love these types - too small to hitch up to a team, but a perfect riding size!! He has grown into a rather handsome boy with exercise and good nutrition and what a great willing attitude he has! Very fun out on the trail - walk, trot, canter and even jump! He is brave and will go over (or through) anything you ask him to. He could go on to a dressage career, could be a husband horse, maybe a lesson horse. I love this goofball and so will whoever is lucky enough to find him!
Price: $5,000

"Cash In" is a flashy 15.3 hh, 3 yr old Percheron/Paint Gelding that a good friend of mine bred and broke. I am fortunate to have found him and be able to pass him on to someone who will be able to appreciate his beauty, mind and talent! He has been extensively trail ridden, has done a little ranch work and is now excelling as a dressage prospect. He is a great mover - very soft and forward and responsive to aids. He seems more mature than his young age. His two beautiful glass blue eyes will melt your heart. Come try him out or request a copy of his video. Very safe and sound for any level rider.

"Sir Raleigh" is a 9 yr old, 16.3 hh Clydesdale/Thoroughbred Gelding with classic clyde markings. He is wonderful to ride - a big ground covering walk, animated trot and rocking horse canter. He flexes and gives at the poll, leg yields, bends, has great consistent leads (which, despite his size he can pick up form a stand still), and will jump anything you point him at - HOLD ON! He is currently trainning at 4 ft! I can't take him any higher because that's my limit (at least mentally!). He is an excellent prospect for any of the english disciplines but would really be great as a junior or A/A jumper . Video available.
Price: $15,000

Congratulations Lori Buchanan of Glendale, AZ!

"Ceasar" is a 9 yr old, 17.2 hand Shire/ Quarter Horse Cross Gelding who came to me from a working ranch. He has been hitched and driven, roped off of, trail ridden and done some general ranch work. Despite his background (or maybe because of it) he is a big chicken poop! He needs a strong confident handler to convince him everythings under control. Once you have his trust he will do anything for you! Because of this I recommend at least an intermediate rider. We have been riding him english with dressage basics and have even introduced him to crossrails. He is a wonderful flat kneed mover with a big stride! He would do wonderfully shown hunt seat and can definitely compete with the European Warmbloods!
